Description

As a vital part of the Clinical Care Team, the Allergy & Immunology RN will assist in direct and indirect patient care focusing on chronic allergic conditions, including asthma, urticaria, and atopic dermatitis for optimal patient outcomes. This position performs a combination of clinical & administrative tasks while delivering outstanding professional patient care, serving both pediatric and adult patients. The AI RN will coordinate the Biologic program, perform testing as ordered, and participate in staff development initiatives for employees. This role requires travel to our NKY and Lawrenceburg offices

Where:

Ability to work and travel to our offices in Northern Kentucky & Lawrenceburg Indiana

Registered Nurse - Allergy & Immunology Responsibilities:

Provide patient education of disease processes, medications, and treatment plans
Administer injections & perform allergy testing, including environmental, food, patch, and medication challenges
Coordinate, administer, and assess patients on biologics
Perform phone and in person triage for patient conditions
Serve as office coverage support to Providers Clinical Care Coordinators
Collaborate with other health care team members in a multidisciplinary environment
Obtain insurance prior authorizations of biologics and other prescribed medications
Attend meetings and trainings as required. Maintain required certifications, including CPR & BBP exposure.
Other duties as requested.

Requirements

Registered Nurse - Allergy & Immunology Job Requirements:

Successful completion of accredited Registered Nurse program - Required
Professional licensed or license-eligible RN in State of Kentucky & Indiana - Required
Current on BLS and CPR Certification - Required
PALS certification - Preferred
Previous experience working in Allergy & Immunology - Preferred

Salary Description

$32-$36 per hour
