- Supervise dockworker performance to ensure correct use of weighing and dimensioning equipment, as well as dock procedures.
- Work closely with regional and terminal operations teams to handle personnel issues related to weight and research process adherence.
- Collaborate with maintenance and IT teams to address issues with forklift scale and dimensioning equipment.
- Ensure precise invoicing through freight inspection, analysis of dimensioner data, product research, and shipper classifications.
- Record weight and research modifications for efficient dispute resolution and collection of freight charges.
- Support the sales team by providing essential National Motor Freight Classification information to customers.
- Bachelor's degree in transportation, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in weight and research or transportation.
- Familiarity with the National Motor Freight Classification, packaging, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Openness to travel and work flexible hours.
