    Job DescriptionQA Summer InternWe are looking for an intern to join our team this summer as we develop robust systems for the manufacture of pressure cylinders.

    Our team is hard-working, smart, goal-oriented and creative, and we are looking for an intern to train to participate in failure mode analysis and training of our processes.

    The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of manufacturing and the regulatory requirements that govern, and will leave this position with invaluable skills and industry knowledge.

    Responsibilities Improve productivity by performing process quality evaluations, time studies, simulation, and line balancing Study and improve plant safety and quality Cost analysis Process documentation Sample preparation Materials inspection requirements Visual Management Quality control Lean Tools and auditingDesired Experience Desired majors in engineering or science:
    Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Regulatory Engineering, Materials Science, or similar areas of study Abilities to work in MS Office and other analytical and planning tools Possess strong analytic and statistic skills Ability to work independently Possess the ability to communicate effectively Desire to learn through hands on experience in production with employeesAbout UsWorthington Enterprises (
