- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists with implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Responsible for new hire employee orientation, development, and training.
- Coordinates staffing efforts. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Participates in selection of candidates for open positions.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits to employees. Assists employees with various matters benefits, compensation, etc.
- Processes payroll and applicable reports.
- Maintains human resource information system (HRIS) and compiles reports from the database. Updates and maintains various systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Maintains Human Resources office filing and storage systems.
- Assists with event planning and implementation.
- Monitors the performance evaluation process.
- Responsible for posting of open internal positions and assists in selection process.
- Responsible for timekeeping of temporary labor and provides information to temporary employment agencies.
- Coordinates and organizes appointments and meetings.
- Greets public and clients and provides direction.
- Must maintain positive communication among other shifts and departments.
- Adheres to plant safety requirements as established by company policy.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Required to adhere to applicable IATF and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Other assignments and responsibilities as required to support organizational and team objectives.

Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for administrating the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. Carries out responsibilities in the functional areas as follows: Human Resource Information System (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits administration and leave, compensation, recruitment, and candidate selection.
Duties/Responsibilities:6. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
7. May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
A bachelors degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field or the equivalent in work experience and education.
Additional certification in the Human Resources field a plus.
Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures and their application in the day-to-day working environment.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Excellent computer skills, experience in MS Office programs preferred.
Attention to detail required.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Good attendance, punctuality and dependability.
