    Job title: Hotel Engineering Supervisor

    Description

    This leadership role oversees the Engineering department's administrative, financial, and operational aspects in the absence of senior management. The Supervisor - Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining a positive demeanor, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

    • Assume responsibility for administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the hotel's Engineering department
    • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times
    • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
    • Approach guest and employee interactions with attentiveness, friendliness, courtesy, and service-orientation
    • Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
    • Meet regular attendance standards as per company requirements
    • Adhere to high standards of personal appearance and grooming
    • Comply with regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
    • Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions
    • EFFECTIVELY handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving them as necessary
    • SHOW initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
    • Perform additional duties as requested by management
    • Collaborate in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds, and other assets in a safe and acceptable state of repair
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
    • Supervise Engineers and provide training in customer service, standard operating procedures, and loss prevention standards
    • Review Guest and Meeting Planner comment cards to address problems in a timely manner
    • Assist with vendor contract administration
    • Contribute to special projects and renovations as needed
