Analyze monthly financial results, including KPI's, and identify/explain trends and changes from Plan/Prior Year, preparing related summaries/ management reports for business leaders and other key stakeholders.
Assist in building Monthly Reporting packages and communicate results as needed.Develop and automate models to transform data into meaningful, clear, concise management reporting.
Assist in developing Budget/Plan and Forecast using various models, industry data, and insights from business leaders.
Develop Key understanding of the Expense and Revenue drivers of the business to be used in various modeling.
Support business opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and their teams and creating proformas and other ad hoc analysis.
Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and other cross-functional groups (Ops, Accounting, IT, Data & Analytics, etc.)Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations (BRP Azimuth) and influencing others to reward performance.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's DegreeFinance, Accounting, Economics, and/or other relevant degreesExperience 2+ years of relevant work experienceLicenses: CPA or CFA preferred but not required.
Insurance licenses such as CPCU, Affiliated, P&C licensing, etc. a plus.Experience with Adaptive Insights a plus.
Skills:
Analyze information and use logic/rationale that connects various concepts.
Ability to build a story around your findings and relay results to leaders.
Utilize effective research and investigative techniques.
Quick Learner in picking up insurance concepts and implementing into analysis.
Basic understanding of GAAP (accruals, revenue recognition, etc.)Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Insurance experience is preferable.
