    JOB TITLE: Sales Support Specialist

    FLSA STATUS: Exempt

    DEPARTMENT: Public Sales & Marketing

    REPORTS TO: EVP Sales & Marketing

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

    JOB LOCATION: Remote

    TRAVEL: 75-80%

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Providing assistance during the sales process for all new opportunities.
    • Learning all software solutions to become a subject matter expert in all.
    • Becoming proficient in providing demonstrations of all software solutions.
    • Attending tradeshows and promoting applicable solutions.
    • Assisting with content for RFP's.
    • Acting as liaison between sales and operations.
    • Update CRM daily.
    • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information.
    • Scheduling customer meetings and conferences.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
    • Computer literacy.
    • Time Management and Organization – Ability to multitask is necessary to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely fashion.
    • Customer Service – Professional conversation etiquette in person and on phone.
    • Communication – Clear and concise communication to explain concepts in simple terms.
    • Problem Solving – Critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with customer needs.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
    • Previous experience utilizing Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
    • Experience in the utility industry is preferred.
