    hours/week

    Primary Objective of Position

    Employee is responsible for ensuring production packets (job travelers, etc.) are produced in a timely manner in accordance with the manufacturing schedule; as well as, locating and expediting late items as to ensure shipping schedules are met..

    Major Areas of Responsibility

    • Follow all work and safety rules.
    • Locate and expedite late items to ensure shipping schedules are met.
    • Help conduct annual inventory.
    • Follow-up on schedules based on production line progress.
    • Revise Production Schedule when necessary.
    • Job travelers and job data entry responsibilities.
    • Enter Issues, Returns, corrections & completions from Epicor jobs.
    • Procurement tasks including office and plant supply ordering.
    • Purchase order and receipt maintenance.
    • Assist in other departments as assigned.
    • Maintain inspection forms.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Every employee is expected to support the INTEK Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our Quality System Manual and Documented Procedure.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree beneficial.
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting desired.
    • Scheduling and/or purchasing experience preferred.
    • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP System)
    • Good organizational skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Good mathematical skills

    Responsibility for Work of Others

    No supervisory responsibilities.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to regularly lift (weekly) up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist and carry tools or materials over the course of 8 – 12 hour shift; while supporting 24-hour/5-day per week plant operations.
    • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
