NCSUMMARY:
The Compliance Specialist supports the company by ensuring rigorous compliance within both internal and external supply chains.

They coordinate, collect, and manage documentation essential for regulatory adherence, contributing to the company's commitment to maintaining operational excellence and regulatory integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain and manage approval documentation for growers, suppliers, and vendorsFacilitate internal and external communication regarding compliance mattersMaintain documentation in external databases like Azzule and SharePointSchedule Food Safety Audits and ensure compliance with deadlinesGenerate compliance performance reports for reviewRecord and track test results, audit findings, and other relevant reportsAssist in assessing and addressing customer complaintsOversee operations support efforts for food and worker safety programsParticipate in developing, revising, and updating safety documentationMonitor and support various Food Safety Program activities, including micro-testing, environmental testing, HACCP, and sanitation proceduresAddress any updates regarding food safety during monthly safety meetingsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/


ABILITIES:
Bilingual, biliterate in English and Spanish preferredStrong organization, interpersonal, and communication skillsCompetency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookKnowledge of related Federal and State regulations is a plusEDUCATION/


EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED requiredFood Safety work experience preferred Experience with Compliance Systems preferredExperience with regulatory food compliance preferred
