    Lead / Upholstery Manager

    SUMMARY:
    The Deluxer is responsible for preparing finished upholstered furniture in a climate-controlled setting.

    This role requires standing for extended periods while using hand tools to ensure completed pieces meet quality standards before final inspection.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Review production documentation to confirm correct frame components, labels, suspension, leg finishes, and other specified options.
    Inspect pieces for straight seams, accurate sewing, correct materials, and proper labeling.
    Ensure finished products are clean, complete, and prepared for shipment.
    Perform minor repairs as needed.
    Coordinate with cushion stuffing and packaging personnel as required.
    Identify and select appropriate nuts, bolts, and screws based on style specifications.
    Assemble frames and mechanisms as required.
    Detect upholstery issues, including sewing flaws or material defects.
    Conduct quality checks throughout the completion process.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    Ability to lift furniture frequently lbs).
    Occasional bending, pushing, and pulling.
    Ability to stand continuously for 8-10 hours per shift.
