    Founded in 2017, Vitae Health Systems is one of the country's largest and fastest-growing providers of clinical services to residents of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Vitae currently operates in 12 states and is rapidly expanding throughout the USA.

    The Position

    As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Psychiatric Medical Director to supervise our mental health program and provide Psychiatric services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.

    What You Will Do

    As our Psychiatric Program Medical Director, you will be tasked with overseeing and guiding all clinical aspects of our program, including but not limited to:

    • Providing oversight and supervision of Vitae's Psychiatric program and providers .
    • Collaborate with Vitae's management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, protocols, and training programs for Vitae's P sychiatric services .
    • R ound as needed at Skilled Nursing Facilities to collaborate with our Psychiatric providers as well as assist with patient care.
    • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other providers and a facility's interdisciplinary team .
    • Attend meetings with Skilled Nursing operators and prospective clients.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prescribing necessary medications and treatments
    • Acting as Collaborating Physician for Vitae's Psychiatric APN's
    • Developing and implementing patient management policies and procedures

    Compensation

    · This is a salaried position with full health , vision and dental benefits, 401k with matching company contributions, malpractice insurance, ta il coverage, and over 4 weeks of paid time off.

    Licensure and Certification Requirements :

    • MD or DO degree (required)
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
    • Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
