    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent Level 1 and multi-specialty OR experience and a valid KY or compact license.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Operating Room setting of a hospital
    Assignment includes exposure to Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures

    Scheduled day shifts:
    four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
    Rotating weekday and weekend on-call requirements with a 40-minute response time
    Staff will be expected to work across a variety of surgical specialties
    Must provide two supervisor references from the last three years of employment
    Return permanent staff must have a six month separation before returning as a traveler
    All requests for time off must be disclosed at the time of application; additional requests will not be approved
    Permanent residence within 100 miles of the facility is not accepted

    Requirements
    Active KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
    Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
    Level 1 trauma OR experience highly desired
    Current BLS certification required
    Experience with Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures required
    No licensure hits accepted
