Schedule: full-time, night shift with 3 x 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am

The Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) will be an extension of our Labor and Delivery Unit. Our 8-bed OBED will open on November 12th We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN who is passionate about triage and enjoys a fast-paced environment to join our team OBED RNs may float to our 13-bed Labor and Delivery Unit.

The Inova Registered Nurse:
- Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team. Required Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience is strongly preferred. Previous experience in triage is strongly preferred.

Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
