Analyzes data and works with internal stakeholders to identify and execute contracts for suppliers utilizing the Company's Contract Management 'HCM' system.

Establishes and manages supplier contract priorities based on stakeholder feedback and business needs.
Ensures adherence to Company-supplier contracting policies and work methods.
Acts as liaison between stakeholders, internal departments, and suppliers.

Defines appropriate commercial terms based on stakeholder input and drafts commercial language that mitigates risk in supplier relationships through effective contracts.

Provides updates and reports out contract status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
Manage and negotiate the entire contracting processInterface with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders and approval groups (procurement, legal, etc)Ensure contracting policies followed and correct variance approvals obtainedDuties may include some reporting on contracts metrics and data analyticsEssential Function/Responsibilities:
Interacts with suppliers to negotiate and execute contracts. -25% of the timeActs as liaison between supplier, stakeholder, and various internal departments. -25% of the timeEnsures compliance with contracting policies and work methods. -25% of the timeWorks with stakeholders to understand strategies and define commercial contract terms. -15% of the timeIdentifies suppliers for the contracting process and sets contract priorities for area of responsibility. -10% of the timeRequirements:The ideal candidate would have experience in SAP Ariba contracting.
Data analysis background as they will have to run some reporting as well as doing the contracting.
A Supply Chain background is preferred.

Able to communicate fluently, this position requires this person to work with stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and interface with multiple groups, therefore clear communication is necessary.1.

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, to interface with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Working knowledge of procurement processes.2.


Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Law

3 Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Contracting.
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), supply chain experience, negotiations experience, procurement experience**NOTES:This is a 6-month contract to hire position.
The candidate MUST be a green card holder or a US citizen.
The role is Remote until further notice. However, the candidate must be able to go to the office for meetings when necessary.
Local candidate only.
This is not a senior-level role. Please do not submit candidates with 10+ years of experience. Ideally, the candidate would have 2-5 years of experience.
Pay Details$33/hourPayable TermsRecruiters receive contract commission payments once per month. Payment is processed after work for each contractor is verified at the end of the month. The commission is paid out on the first pay period of the following month. Depending on when your candidate starts, the first payment may take 4 to 6 weeks to receive.
