- Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Automation/Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
- Three years of teaching and/or industry experience.
- Ability to provide effective instruction in the following areas: digital and analog electronics, robotics, instrumentation, automation, computer-aided drafting and design, programmable logic controls, motors and controls, and electrical wiring.
- Facilitate learner-centered, outcomes-based instruction.
- Willingness to provide instruction to curriculum, continuing education, workforce training, or other students, which may be scheduled as day, evening, weekend, or online options.
- Develop, maintain, and record student learning outcomes for courses and associated program(s).
- Ability to use technology to deliver instruction.
- Initiate, develop, and sustain business, education, and industry relationships to foster program growth and maintain alignment with industry needs.
- A desire to participate in professional development activities, including those related to the use of critical thinking skills in instructional design and student development.
- Maintain the annual budget for the program.
- Willingness to participate in community service activities.
- Willingness to participate in public school and university articulation, advisement, and recruitment programs of the College.

Minimum RequirementsSince producing learning is the primary function of the college, it is the principal responsibility of each instructional staff member to effectively and efficiently stimulate learning in every course. In addition, each instructional staff member should provide guidance to students through their role as an academic advisor and in more informal ways. Each staff member is expected to participate in the governance of the college through committees and divisional meetings, through shared leadership within and across divisions, and through personal recommendations to college administrators.
