**Job Purpose:**

Lead and manage an effective and efficient cGMP warehouse and logistics operation to meet seasonal and pandemic supply requirements as defined by the Global S&OP process and Seqirus business objectives in accordance with the long-term strategic plan.

**Major Accountabilities:**

**Manage cGMP Warehouse Operations**

Define and manage clear key performance indicators (KPIs) for effective management of safety, quality and resources

Manage warehousing and logistics operations, including storage, receipt, inventory accuracy and logistics processes using SAP.

Manage warehouse and logistics capacity planning to ensure alignment with site S&OP requirements for current and future requirements of the business.

Manage cGMP operations to include cold chain, temperature controlled shipments, international/domestic shipments, and delivery of raw materials, intermediates, drug substance and drug product.

**Delivery Processing**

Supervise logistics staff to select relevant orders for delivery, and create outbound delivery, including relevant batch, billing and shipping documentation

Supervise logistics staff to verify availability, delivery, and goods issue status, and check the material document for goods movement

Assure coordination with 3PLs to send delivery information and confirm shipment

**Quality Management System Support**

Lead deviation investigations to support quality events such as Product Technical Complaints, Shipping Temperature Excursions, or Distribution Damages

Author/Approve Standard Operating Procedures to support domestic operations as well as global logistics processes in line with standards defined by Global Logistics.

Work with Global Quality and Commercial Operations within recall Execution (as required) including generating distribution reports, coordinating stock movements/returns, etc.

**Manage Third Party Logistics Provider**

Effectively manage the 3PL relationship as it relates to the distribution, logistics and warehousing of the sites raw materials and components. The management and oversight of 3PL providers for samples, WIP and/or drug product shipments shall be in collaboration with Global Logistics.

Ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) and statistics related to 3rd party warehousing and distribution are captured and reported to the Head of Supply Chain.

Perform periodic business reviews with Procurement, Quality and the Head of Supply Chain and the vendors management to ensure that all agreements, operations and interactions are meeting expectations.

Manage and review vendor invoices, analyze monthly spending reports and invoice payments for accuracy and identify opportunities to improve and reduce logistics operations costs

**Leadership**

Provide team direction for and oversight to ensure domestic and international trade, quality and safety compliance.

Support, oversee, and manage the performance and productivity of the In-Market Logistics team as it relates to warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities and provide coaching to In-Market Logistics team to achieve pre-defined goals/targets, while providing continual feedback and guidance to the team

Develop and manage annual budget for the Warehouse & Logistics cost center. This includes monthly, quarterly and annual review of budget spending and development of forecasts with deviations clearly explained.

Develop and lead an organization that champions a continuous improvement culture including new technologies, capital purchases, operational processes, etc.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree required or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.

APICS certification, preferred

Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.

Hands-on experience with cold chain logistics is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical / biological manufacturing, regulatory standards and environments, cGMP and change management

SAP proficiency is strongly preferred

Strong safety mindset to proactively manage high volume, high throughput warehouse and logistics operations.

Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a shop floor team that range in experience level.

Skills to manage headcount and operational activities to achieve bottom line financial results.

Strong technical understanding of Supply Chain processes and systems, with demonstrated knowledge of cGMP, FDA & EMEA requirements.

Strong safety mindset to proactively manage high volume, high throughput warehouse and logistics operations.

Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a shop floor team that range in experience level.

Skills to manage headcount and operational activities to achieve bottom line financial results.

Strong technical understanding of Supply Chain processes and systems, with demonstrated knowledge of cGMP, FDA & EMEA requirements.

Working experience and knowledge with cold chain technologies and logistics
