    ** Hart Prairie Lead Cook (Cook III)**

    **Description**

    ***Essential Functions:***

    Year 5+ cook with all skills of Cook 1 and 2 including the ability to effectively schedule employees on a biweekly basis. Correctly and efficiently order food from purveyors while adhering to par limits set by the Chef/Manager. Maintain all HACCP procedures in place from the Kitchen Manager as well as follow and delegate all cleaning lists. A Cook 3 will write prep lists and maintain kitchen pars at all times, limiting running out of daily menus items needed to serve our guests.

    ***Physical Requirements:***

    Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. without assistance.

    Must be able to stand and/or walk for several hours at a time.

    Job requires bending, stooping, twisting, lifting arms above the head at times.

    ***Competencies* *Required:***

    Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

    Knowledge of knife safety and skill in handling knives in a safe manner.

    Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as well as during the week when required.

    Ability to solve problems and take direction.

    Ability to work in a team environment.

    Possess a commitment to provide high-quality products and customer service.

    Possess internal drive and motivation.

    Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work environment.

    Must be available for later hours and weekends.
