- The SME for Integrated Network Systems of Systems (INSS) will support the Principle Director (PD) participation in the Joint All-Domain Command & Control Cross Functional Team (JADC2 CFT) and the C3 Leadership Board
- Maintain modernization tech roadmaps related to space systems. Roadmaps shall
- Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership, outside agencies, Congress, Industry, Academia, Professional Societies, and others as directed by your PD
- Track department-wide budgets for efforts aligning with their respective PD
- Prepare and conduct meetings related to your Principal Director's focus area Integrated Network Systems of Systems (INSS)
- Travel within the DC Metro Area to the Pentagon, Mark Center or Suffolk Building

- PhD in STEM and 10 years' experience in the subject matter required
- DoD or National Capital Region work experience
- Experience supporting senior government civilians and/or military
- Background in layers 3 through 7 (networking through application) of the OSI 7 layer model \_model . Especially layers 6 and 7.
- Knowledge Universal (UC2) into Machine to Machine Learning (M2M) C2
- Knowledge of 5G URLL," "distributed," and "networked" (autonomous) systems
- Experience in developing and demonstrating mission base capabilities to fill persistent gaps within the National Defense Strategy (NDS)
- Previous experience with Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processes
- Previous experience in engineering, analysis of alternatives, integration, requirements, and testing
- Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions
- Excellent writing, communication, and briefing skills
