- Prepares, records, and enters journal entries involving cash, AR, inventory, prepaid accruals, and various intercompany transactions in an accurate & timely manner.
- Assists in the monthly financial closing process by reconciling various general ledger accounts and providing account analysis & support.
- Reconciles bank accounts.
- Maintains fixed assets depreciation schedule.
- Oversees monthly physical inventory counts, coordinating issues & results with warehouse staff.
- Files liquor & sales taxes to meet all requirements while avoiding overpayment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required. CPA a plus.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software, with Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP/Oracle/Great Plains or other large ERP accounting systems.
- Experience working in a multi-location-based organization with company roll-up and consolidations is preferred.

The Senior Accountant role is a vital accounting team member and instrumental in the month-end closing process.
