    Responsibilities
    • Provides direct invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary exams and procedures.
    • Administers, monitors and records medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians including, but not limited to, setting up and maintaining patient ventilation, and performing arterial blood gas procedures.
    • Set up, maintains and monitors equipment and notifies designated management of malfunctions.
    • Attends professional meetings and maintains credentials and/or licensure.
    • Participates in the development and review of policies and procedures.
    • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
    • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
    • Cooperates & interacts with superiors, peers, other departments, & all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements

    • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Related experience may be substituted for related education
    • Current NM Respiratory Care License
    • BLS

    Preferred Job Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in related field
    • One (1) year of related experience
    • AARC Membership
    • National Specialty Certification
    • PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by facility/department
