    Description

    Responsibilities/Qualifications:

    Landings of Genesee Valley Senior Living Facility in Flint is looking for a housekeeper. The housekeeper is an essential member of the team. The responsibilities are cleaning residents rooms and common areas. We are looking for staff to enhance the lives of our residents by being a positive part of their environment. This will be accomplished by completing your tasks in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating with others to attain goals.

    Previous experience preferred.

    The Housekeeper would be responsible for:

    • Cleaning residents apartments: mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms according to the cleaning schedule.
    • Laundry assistance when needed.
    • Restocking supplies.
    • Report concerns with residents to the manager.
    • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

    Requirements:

    • Residential cleaning experience preferred.
    • Be able to lift, bend, kneel and walk during the whole shift.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • The capacity to work as a team.
    • Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
    • The ability to arrive on time for every shift.
    • Reliable transportation is required.
    • Every other weekend.
