    Job Description For: Procurement Coordinator
    Division/Department: Purchasing
    Location: GRANDVIEW, WASHINGTON, USA
    Job Title: Procurement Coordinator
    Reports To: Purchasing Manager
    • Salary/Wage- $80, $88,185.24
    • Type of Position: Full-time, Exempt
    • Annual wage review based on individual performance.
    • Company sponsored discretionary bonus package dependent upon individual & company performance.
    General Description:
    The Procurement Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the procurement and inventory of all necessary ingredients, packaging supplies, processing supplies and other products required for production. This role requires strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to identify sourcing needs to negotiate contracts with suppliers. Works as a liaison in maintaining the Production Schedule for all aspects of the Beverage and Dry Operations. Assist the Purchasing Manager with daily tasks.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Work closely with Operations and Inventory in providing coordination with Production Scheduling of all fruits, toll productions and other required incoming ingredients.
    • Assists in Coordinating the timing of production with Operations department.
    • Assists in Coordinating the drumming of finished products with the Blending department.
    • Responsible for all freight logistics associated with incoming products.
    • Work closely with the Sales Department on production requirements and timing for finished goods.
    • Responsible for daily communication with suppliers on timing of deliveries, carriers, etc.
    • Responsible for maintaining proper inventories of supplies specific to raw materials to support Beverage and dry operations.
    • Work closely with warehouse personnel on maintaining weekly counts
    • Responsible for maintaining pricing, contract dates, and vendor details to ensure Up to Date Required Documents (Organic Certificates, Letter of Guarantees, etc.) are on file.
    • Coordinate and work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure all suppliers are current with required documentation.
    • Interacts / communicates well with scale house attendants, suppliers, vendors, office staff and sales team
    • Pay close attention to details, especially when managing contracts and purchase orders. Double-check for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Assists with the origination and finalization of competitive solicitations documents and incorporates the necessary steps to finalize contracts for long-term agreements and/or one-time purchases for dry operations.
    • Proactively report product and material availability concerns and facilitates team and functional meetings to drive decision making.
    • Issue of Purchase Orders to suppliers
    • Maintain Purchase Order log
    • Receiving of all purchased items in NAV system (inventoried)
    • Complete special projects and assignments as requested
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Skill Requirements:
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) Strong organization skills with outlook.
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • A minimum of two years in the agricultural ingredient-based beverage and food processing industry preferred.
    • Knowledge and understanding of production
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and written
    • Knowledge of the ERP system and 3PL
    • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment
    • Demonstrates skills to work in a team environment
    • Ability to adapt to an everchanging production plans.
    • Self-starter
    Education Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Associate's degree in administration, Accounting or related field a plus.
    • Two-year experience in production planning/coordinating preferred.
