The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an outstanding clinician scientist for a tenure-track faculty position specializing in Neurotology.
Qualified candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD, must have completed an approved subspecialty fellowship and must be board eligible/board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.Candidates with a track record of high-quality scholarly work and existing extramural funding will be given special consideration. Candidates employing interdisciplinary approaches, including backgrounds in clinical, translational, biomedical informatics, and/or basic science research are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will be expected to work with members of a multidisciplinary team to develop a transformative, funded research program and participate in training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Individuals with a background in basic science and/or translational research who have a goal of pursuing a career as a clinician scientist will be most strongly considered.
