    Pay range:
    $ $33.00 / hour

    Shifts:
    Full-Time AM: 5 8-hour shifts per week, Full-Time AM: 4 10-hour shifts per week, Full-Time AM: 3 12-hour shifts per week, Full Time PM: 3 12-hours shifts per week, Full-Time PM: 4 10- hours shifts per week

    As part of our Perioperative Services, you'll work in one of the nation's largest and most dynamic surgical departments dedicated to advancing surgical care, featuring more than 60 state-of-the-art operating suites where more than 41,000 surgeries are completed annually.

    Our team excels in clinical excellence, teamwork, and innovation, managing complex cases with cutting-edge technology, including iMRI ORs and a robotics surgery program that is among the largest of its kind in the Southeast with the highest patient volume in the country.

    You'll collaborate with world-class surgeons and an interdisciplinary care team, including pre-and-post-procedural and OR staff, who are all committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and the highest quality care.

    Job Description

    To scrub and assist surgical team during basic surgical procedures. To prepare and maintain the environment, medical equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. To follow hospital regulations and industry procedures regarding patient care. To pre-operatively prepare the patient. To transport patient to and from the operating room as required.
    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

    Certified upon completion of the Surgical Technologist program or eligible to sit for certification within six months of being hired.

    Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment.

    Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
