- Medical Oversight: Provide expert medical guidance and support to ensure the safety and quality of VI's products throughout the importation and distribution process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure VI's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential health and safety hazards associated with VI's products, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Product Evaluation: Collaborate with internal teams to assess the health impact of new products or ingredients, and provide recommendations for product development and reformulation.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management protocols to effectively respond to any medical emergencies or product recalls.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to internal teams on medical and health-related matters, including product safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
- Medical Liaison: Serve as a liaison between VI and external medical professionals, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to facilitate communication and collaboration on medical and health-related issues.
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., internal medicine, pharmacology) preferred.
- Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or regulatory role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FDA regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements related to the importation and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate scientific data and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Superior communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.

As the Full-Time Remote Medical Director at Vidalco International, LLC (VI), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our consumers through comprehensive medical oversight and strategic guidance.
