    WHAT WE'RE OFFERING
    We are looking for a talented and motivated

    Market Development Manager .

    This position will be regionally focused (Nashville & Mt Juliet) on Residential Market Development delivering amazing, easy, and personal customer experience.

    A successful candidate will be creating and focused on maintaining relationships with HOAs, Developers, Builders, and Property Management Companies.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
    Strategically generate leads, identify, qualify, and secure opportunities to generate sales revenue for bulk services.

    Understand technical aspects of our services and engage customers in a consultative approach by having a deep understanding of the work, our processes, and industry trends.

    Work collaboratively with engineering, network operations, finance, and United Communications leadership to source and structure deals that deliver value to our customers.

    Present large opportunities requiring investment to United Communications leadership; conduct associated financial modeling and assessment of growth opportunities, risks, and operational requirements.

    Create and implement a rolling three-year sales plan.
    Develop accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.
    Develop presentations, calendars, and reports on activity. Report on ROI and identified success metrics. Maintain accurate and quality sales records.
    Provide leadership and support for new product development activities, including ideation, research, pricing, and strategy development.
    Stay well-informed of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position United Communications in the marketplace.

    Analyze market trends, competitive data, and customer insights, and recommend changes to marketing, pricing, and market development strategies based on analysis and feedback.

    Create and deliver sales presentations demonstrating strong knowledge of United Communications' products and services.

    Lead customer meetings regularly with a strong ability to build rapport, open doors, and understand the business needs of senior decision makers.

    Cultivate local partnerships and organizational affiliations to positively promote and position the United Communications brand within the communities we serve.

    Actively participate in community events and service opportunities.

    Maintain and build customer relationships; work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and develop best practices to meet and exceed customer expectations.

    Regularly follow up with existing customers to ensure service and product satisfaction.

    Identify and maintain highly engaged relationships with the top property management companies, builders, developers, & POAs/HOAs in our service area.

    Drive sales in new and existing neighborhoods through POA/HOA events, marketing agreements, and other methods.

    WHAT YOU BRING
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline, or the equivalent education and /or experience.
    Minimum 4+ years of experience in the areas of responsibility listed above.
    Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

    Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to effectively articulate complex situations to colleagues and customers with varying degrees of network knowledge.

    Must possess skills in presenting, persuading, and negotiating.

    PC Skills –advanced word processing and email skills, along with the ability to review and analyze reports in company systems.

    Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

    Demonstrates high ethical standards, strong work ethic with an emphasis on team commitment, showing respect for others, the ability to acknowledge and build on others' ideas, and support for group decisions.

    Ability and interest to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing technology environment, effectively dealing with multiple projects, stress, and conflict.

    Must have the ability to solve problems with patience and a positive approach.
    Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
    Ability to operate motorized work equipment and office equipment, including personal computers, phone systems, and software applications.
