    Description

    Vice Chair of Education – Associate/Full Professor

    • The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is looking for candidates for an Associate or Full Professor role in the academic clinician track.
    • Responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating rooms of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC).
    • The Vice Chair of Education will oversee educational programs, develop the Education Office budget, promote educational research, participate in recruitment, and report to school leadership.
    • Additionally, the Vice Chair will serve on various committees, work closely with the Department Chair, and maintain an inclusive educational environment.
    • Candidates are encouraged to have prior leadership experience, a strong teaching record, and promote diversity and inclusion.
