    Description

    Marathon is a global contractor and is in constant need of skilled tradesman to perform work all over the world.

    This opportunity is typically offered to Cleared American Workers, also known as CAWs.

    While Marathon always seeks to hire previously Cleared American Workers with a minimum secret clearance, Marathon may sponsor selected candidates for a security clearance.

    No international job is the same. Marathon performs work in remote, developing locations and metropolitan cities across the globe. Our goal is to provide high-quality service to our customers no matter the location or the environment.


    Available Openings in Multiple Locations:

    • Journeyman Electricians:
    State Licenses preferred


    • Fire Alarm Technicians:
    Minimum of NICET Level II preferred


    • Technical Security System Technicians
    • Telecommunication Technicians:
    Minimum of BICSI Level II preferred


    • Apprentices:
    Defined by experience in the field and/or previous relevant education or enrollment in our in-house apprenticeship program.

    Candidates interested in the opportunity to work internationally:

    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Will have a greater responsibility while possessing a US Government Security Clearance
    • Must be willing to work a minimum 55 hour week.
    • Must be willing to relocate overseas for long periods of time (Deployments stay is between 2 months – 1 year without return).
    • Must be flexible as each location presents its own unique set of challenges.
    • Must be responsive to emails, trainings, and any attempts by office personnel to fulfill Security Requirements and Visa/Travel Requirements.

    Experience:
    Preferred minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry.

    Education:
    Minimum high school diploma or GED.

    Training:

    While Marathon provides opportunities to cultivate knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety, and National Electrical Codes, prior understanding of each is preferred.


    Certifications/Licenses:
    Submit any current Licenses or Training Certificates you may have.

    It is important applicants have a working knowledge of both, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism when collaborating with other Trades, the General Contractor, and the Owner.

    Physical Demands:

    Candidates will be required to perform all activities inherent with construction and will be expected to perform tasks indoors or outdoors in a variety of changing weather conditions.
