Job Description:

Position summary:

This job function provides analytical support for determination of ligand binding to target protein using two-dimensional liquid chromatography coupled with high resolution mass spectrometry (2D-LC/MS).

This analyst needs also engage with ligand binding confirmation using Native Mass Spectrometry approach.


Key responsibilities:
" Work directly with *** senior scientist in day-to-day tasks.
" Conduct sample preparation and assist instrument analysis/troubleshooting.
" Assist running experiments and data acquisition.
" Assist data processing with instrument vendor s and *** in-house software.
" Capture data into *** e-notebook and assist data archiving.
" Help to maintain instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory.

Minimum Qualifications
" BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines
" Knowledge of separation science and/or instrument analysis particularly in LC/MS
" Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.
" Fast learner of new skills and attention to details.


Preferred Qualifications:
" Training and experience in analytical lab with any of the following HPLC, mass spectrometry, sample preparation/purification for either large or small molecules
" Demonstrated scientific knowledge (e.g. GPA) and/or skills to maintain high level of performance


Job Expectations:
" Onsite, 40 hours / week, present during core business hours (9 to 3)
