    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the public sector market.
    • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement officers in government agencies.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans to exceed revenue and growth targets.
    • Proposal Management: Collaborate with internal teams to create responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring alignment with client needs.
    • Market Expertise: Stay updated on federal procurement processes, regulations, and government IT spending trends.
    • Product Knowledge: Present Xerox's suite of IT solutions, including managed services, hardware, software, and cloud technologies to public sector clients.
    • Pipeline Management: Accurately maintain records of opportunities, forecasts, and activities within the CRM system.
    • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to public sector contracting rules and regulations.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, contract managers, and marketing to deliver customized solutions for our clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of sales experience within the federal government sector.
    • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
    • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes.
    • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including cloud, hardware, and managed services.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Established relationships with federal agencies and system integrators.
    • Experience working with or selling through government contracting vehicles.
    • Knowledge of public sector IT initiatives and policies.
