- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans to exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Proposal Management: Collaborate with internal teams to create responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Market Expertise: Stay updated on federal procurement processes, regulations, and government IT spending trends.
- Product Knowledge: Present Xerox's suite of IT solutions, including managed services, hardware, software, and cloud technologies to public sector clients.
- Pipeline Management: Accurately maintain records of opportunities, forecasts, and activities within the CRM system.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to public sector contracting rules and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, contract managers, and marketing to deliver customized solutions for our clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of sales experience within the federal government sector.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, including cloud, hardware, and managed services.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Established relationships with federal agencies and system integrators.
- Experience working with or selling through government contracting vehicles.
