Home Health Aide (HHA) - Wickliffe, OH
Job Summary:
Home Helpers Home Care Mentor OH is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team in Wickliffe, OH. As an HHA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and supportive services to clients in a safe and respectful manner
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families, promoting independence and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care and services
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent experience in the healthcare industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with chronic illnesses
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients with care and safety
