    This firm, local to Chadds Ford, PA, is expanding its dynamic, mid-sized team with the inclusion of a dedicated Electrical Engineer.

    Applicants should possess a solid background in MEP engineering and design, with specific experience in sectors such as industrial, manufacturing, commercial offices, mixed-use buildings, and warehouse facilities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting field surveys and information gathering.
    • Performing electrical systems calculations.
    • Selecting and specifying electrical equipment.
    • Designing power systems distribution.
    • Specifying and designing generators.
    • Creating lighting layouts with controls.
    • Specifying and designing Fire Alarm and other low-voltage systems.
    • Writing and editing specifications reports and other technical documents.
    • Reviewing RFI submittals and shop drawings.
    • Inspecting construction phases and creating punch lists.
    • Communicating with clients and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
    • Estimating order-of-magnitude costs.
    • Troubleshooting systems.

    Job RequirementsDetails:

    • Significant knowledge of ICC Codes, NFPA NEC, and other industry standards.
    • High-level organization skills.
    • Experience in the MEP engineering and design industry, especially in markets like industrial manufacturing, commercial office, mixed-use buildings, warehouse, food processing, hospitality, restaurant, and retail.
    • Experience in mission-critical and pharmaceutical markets is preferred.
    • Proficiency in CAD is mandatory; Revit skills are highly beneficial.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with other disciplines.
    • Consistent demonstration of urgency and overcoming obstacles.
    • Acute attention to detail.
