- Analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost allocation. Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement to enhance cost control measures.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing insights into cost drivers and recommending adjustments to achieve financial targets.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for variances.
- Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate valuation of inventory and proper inventory controls.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and oversee the valuation process.
- Maintain and enhance costing systems and methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance in cost allocation.
- Implement improvements or updates as needed to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on cost analysis, inventory valuation, and related financial metrics to management.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Bachhelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience in cost accounting or related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in cost accounting principles, methodologies, and systems (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in financial analysis.
