    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a Friday–Sunday weekend day shift contract, with a high volume of vascular ultrasound studies and experience on Samsung ultrasound machines preferred.

    Responsibilities
    Hospital-based Radiology/Ultrasound department
    Serves all patient age groups
    High volume of vascular ultrasound studies performed at this location
    Uses Samsung ultrasound machines
    Cerner EMR (experience preferred but not required)
    12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
    No on-call required
    First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    Weekly orientation provided
    3 references required upon commitment, with 2 from leadership (manager or charge-level)
    Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
    Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate

    Requirements
    Current BLS certification
    ARDMS certification required
    NH permanent or compact license required; temporary licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
    Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential preferred but not required
    Cerner EMR experience preferred
    Experience with Samsung ultrasound machines preferred
