- Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, promptly addressing any delays or deviations from the project plan.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and answer questions.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained before construction begins and maintained throughout the project.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, contracts, change orders, and other relevant records.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on K12 education or medical facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Professional certifications in construction management or related fields.
- Experience with LEED or other sustainable building practices.
- Familiarity with K12 education or medical facility design and construction standards.
- Previous experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm.
