**Shipping - Material Handler**
Noblesville, IN, USA Req #1541 Tuesday, February 8, 2022 **PURPOSE**
The purpose of the Material Handler position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the fulfillment of customer orders are followed.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
q Adherence to all department work instructions
q Ensure respective area is compliant with 5S standards
q Process all tasks associated with established customer order fulfillment standards as distributed by management
q Execute basic to advanced work flow tasks on established WMS/ERP SMC systems
q Report product location discrepancies to management
q Report all inventory discrepancies to management
q Proficiency in essential job functions for Material Handler according to the Job Function Performance metrics
q Strong attention to detail
q Adherence to all safety rules
q Adherence to all Quality Management system standards and policies
q Ability to meet established productivity and quality standards
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT**
q Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
q The person is frequently required to lift 25 pounds or greater, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl.
q Must be able to effectively communicate with command of the English language.
q The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust.
q Must be able to drive for long periods of time if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial Truck.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
q High School Diploma or equivalent
q Prior experience in a warehouse environment desirable
q Pass Accuracy Test prior to employment
q Ability to work well in a team environment
q Detail oriented
q Ability to effectively communicate
q Must pass basic to advance skill level testing as indicated on the evolving Performance Metric
q Basic computer and RF Scanner skills preferred
q Must have a valid drivers license if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial Truck
q Must pass a written exam and driving evaluation for operation of Motorized Industrial Transporters if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial Truck
