Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of SNF experience for a post-acute care assignment serving multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Work in a post-acute setting covering skilled nursing facilities in West Union and Waukon, IA
- Assignment is for 13 weeks with potential for extension
- Day shifts are available, Monday through Friday or shifted schedules such as Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
- No on-call or holiday coverage required
- Use of Net Health EMR system
- May be required to supervise up to one COTA
- Productivity expectation is 82% for therapists, including evaluation, group, and concurrent therapy time
- Paid mileage and drive time if traveling between locations in a single day
- New graduates will be considered and on-the-job training is available
- No scrubs or dress code information provided
- Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted under local rate rules
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Willingness to travel between facilities as needed
- SNF experience preferred
