    Electrical Controls Engineer

    Job Description:

    Using your ability to design electrical control systems and PLC programming, using motion control and robotics, along with vision systems, you will create systems to enhance the efficiency of CNC machines.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Degree preferred or reasonable years of experience in automation controls.

    · Must have experience with PLC Ladder Logic systems (examples: Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Direct Logic, etc.)

    · Understanding electrical drawings and schematics is a must.

    · Strong understanding of electric theory.

    · Knowledge of Servo Control, Hydraulics Systems and Pneumatics.

    · Motion and safety controls experience preferred; specifically, E-Stop, Door Safety, etc.

    · Must be able to read, interpret and create electrical schematics with CAD type software, AutoCAD or Drawing Software experience preferred.

    · Robotics knowledge or experience is a plus.

    · Must be able to set up and design control panels for automation control systems.

    · Must be able to provide customer support and troubleshoot equipment by phone or in person when applicable.

    · Willing to travel up to 10% for technical support.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard software.
