    Pegasus Asset Management ("Pegasus") is currently hiring a Junior Property Manager that will be an integral member of a rapidly growing commercial real estate asset management firm that focuses primarily on retail real estate assets. The daily job responsibilities will include a wide range of asset management and accounting functions to maximize the performance of a 45-property family real estate office, owning and operating properties throughout the country.

    Pegasus is seeking a professional, meticulous, outgoing individual with a desire to learn the principals of commercial real estate asset management. The candidate must be detailed-oriented, organized, and able to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude. This role will also require frequent interaction and collaboration with the portfolio's managing principal.

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    • Providing critical, analytical and operations support for asset management and accounting activities
    • Daily correspondence with vendors and tenants nationwide to ensure the properties within the portfolio are operating efficiently
    • Manage work orders and process administrative requests
    • Ensure properties remain compliant with all local ordinances
    • Manage rent collections for all tenants in the portfolio
    • Conduct site visits for local and out-of-state properties as needed
    • Assist with onboarding process for new acquisitions

    Experience and Qualifications:

    We are looking for an assertive, creative, thick-skinned entry-level candidate who has an entrepreneurial spirit and who is passionate about this exciting opportunity to grow within the company. Additional requirements include:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • Exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
    • Ability to be organized, detail-oriented and to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Yardi Property Management Software experience is a plus
    • General knowledge of CAM reconciliations is a plus
    • 1-5 years of work experience in commercial real estate

    This position reports to the Executive Vice President and Senior Asset Manager. The Junior Property Manager will be part of a highly collaborative team and integral to the growth of the business.
