    The Director, HCP Marketing will play a critical role as a member of the LYBALVI Brand Team in accelerating the education and uptake of this recently launched brand with HCP stakeholders.

    This person will report to the Senior Director, HCP Lead and will be primarily responsible for strategic marketing initiatives that directly impact brand performance.


    Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.

    Responsibilities


    Key Responsibilities:
    Lead LYBALVI brand plan across all key commercial functions
    Maintain and refine personal and non-personal strategies while ensuring strategic and tactical alignment and integration of tactical activities including emerging omnichannel capabilities
    Manage HCP positioning, campaign, key messages
    Compile HCP insights from various sources including market research, analytics, field and thought leader liaison advisory councils, advisory boards
    Lead cross-functional competitive entrant planning workstream
    Support management of existing free goods programs and development of new potential programs
    Act as liaison to key cross-functional partners including Sales, Sales Training, Thought Leader Engagement, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Product Communications
    Maximize value of external partners (i.e. advertising agency) in a cost-effective manner
    Qualifications

    Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business or science
    12+ years of experience with positions of increasing responsibility

    Preferred Qualifications:

    10+ years experience in pharmaceutical product marketing
    5+ years in inline marketing focused on HCP marketing and brand strategy
    Experience in marketing or selling CNS drugs preferred
    Strategic thinker with the ability to forge focused business strategies and communicate to a wide variety of internal and external audiences
    Strong analytical skills, able to clearly interpret and distill scientific, clinical and commercial information
    Proven ability to lead cross matrix team as part of collaboration with brand stakeholders
    Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate problems
    Ability to work across multiple functions (sales, sales training, finance, medical affairs)
    Proven ability to partner with medical, legal, and regulatory promotional review committees
    Experience managing agency partners
    Ability to influence and gain consensus from peers and management
    Strong written and presentation skills
    Understanding of industry code of conduct and ethics

    Travel Requirements:
    Overnight travel ~10-15%
