    Position Title: Activities Director
    Location: Springfield at Whitney Oaks, Rocklin, CA
    Reporting To: General Manager
    Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
    Salary: $20.00-$23.00 Hourly

    EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:

    The Activities Director is responsible for providing exceptional customer experience while being the point of reference at all private and community events.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Oversees and manages all HOA events, socials, crafts, and leisure-time activities
    • Responsible for the promotion and oversight of all HOA activities, including oversight of volunteers
    • Maintain a safe work environment
    • Complies with the Association governing documents and rules
    • Phone back up for front desk at breaks and lunch
    • Respond to phone, email, and correspondence from homeowners
    • Assess the needs of the community for new activities by getting input from the residents
    • Decorating for events and holidays; and enlist volunteers as needed
    • Facilitate speakers, classes, special interest activities, etc.
    • Document and maintain records of events for future use
    • Attend activities and meetings when requested
    • Create, print, mount, and distribute all posters, flyers, and sign-up sheets
    • Draft and coordinate monthly newsletter
    • Have a working knowledge of the Association responsibilities, including but not limited to administrative assignments
    • Maintain files, obtain necessary credentials, certifications, and insurance for events.
    • Maintain inventory list of all facility items (dishes, glassware, silverware, tablecloths, napkins, and any other items)
    • Back up for Community Support Specialist (CSS)
    • Promote a positive environment that fosters a fun atmosphere
    • Supervise the events and assist homeowners with questions
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Excellent skills in utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Drop Box) in various applications, desktop publishing experience, network administration and troubleshooting experience.
    • Written and verbal communication skills, particularly related to coordinating information and projects.
    • Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization
    • Must be a cooperative and flexible team player who is committed to delivering high-level customer service.
    • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
    • Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests always.
    • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
    SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Use standard office equipment, including computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
    • Be stationary or in motion for periods of time.
    • Relocate up to (40) pounds.

    SCHEDULE & TRAVEL:
    • Hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
    • Required to work weekends and holidays and work activity event. This position can become full time depending on activities that are generated.
