What you will be doing
Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize VMware technologies in accordance with security policies and guidelines. Coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional initiatives/work groups and projects as a team leader or advisor.

Develop and build highly complex systems that have system-wide impact, integrates across the organization, and involves multiple technical environments and disciplines and complex infrastructure solutions.

Design and implement virtual and container environments, and hardware architecture. Plan and execute complex upgrades. Work with architecture teams on virtual firewall standards and methodology. Participate in workshops with other technical teams to provide guidance on the use of overlay network with Disaster Recovery. Works with analysts, architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs.

Leads the evaluation of technical requirements for projects to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirements.

Ensures completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Remote work is permitted
What your background should look like

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer, Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and: 5 years of experience supporting IT and network infrastructure.

3 years of experience designing and implementing NSX V, including Distributed Firewall and Logical Routing; using hyper-converged infrastructure platforms; using VMware data center products including vCenter, SRM, and ESXi; designing and implementing vRealize Automation; designing and implementing HCX enterprise and Cisco UCS.

Remote work is permitted.
