    Studio Manager for Fine Art and Editorial Photographer

    The studio of a prominent fine art and editorial photographer in Downtown New York seeks a full-time studio manager to begin work in mid-to-late June 2025.

    This role requires working closely with the artist on personal, commercial, and editorial projects. The studio manager will act as a liaison between the artist, external parties (including agencies, publications, galleries, museums, vendors), and the studio staff.

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced studio manager to oversee all ongoing studio projects, ensuring that the artist's short-term and long-term goals are met. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication, delegation, and multitasking skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
    • Oversee operations, including managing staff and interns
    • Work directly on projects with assistants daily
    • Ensure the artist's short-term and long-term goals are met

    Requirements

    • Management experience in arts or production background
    • Technical experience with photography hardware and software
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign)
    • Knowledge of photographic materials, archival practices, digital workflow, and equipment
    • Driver's license required

    Working Environment

    The studio is located in Downtown New York and offers a dynamic work environment. As a studio manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a prominent fine art and editorial photographer on a wide range of projects.
