    Sr DevOps Engineer, AI, Cloud Computing - High-Profile U.S. Commercial Project in Qatar

    Our client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead a team in optimizing software development processes, enhancing stability and security, and streamlining production infrastructure. This project is unique as it spans across the commercial and defense industries.     What will you be doing?

    • As a valuable team member, use your project management, software development, and server administration skills to promote innovation and continual improvement throughout the SDLC
    • Architect, deploy, and maintain secure/scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms and DevOps tools
    • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and monitor solutions
    • Evaluate and optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
    • Develop high-quality, maintainable code and collaborate with software engineering teams
    • Oversee network and server infrastructure administration, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

    What are the minimum requirements?

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Proven experience (7+ years) in DevOps/SRE or software engineering. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automated testing
    • Expert in cloud computing and DoD/USG on-premise platforms and optimizing resources on those systems
    • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) to automate deployment processes and ensure efficient operations
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, leading incident management and root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures to enhance system reliability and performance
    • Proficient in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, Go
    • SQL/RDBMS knowledge is required
    • Military experience working overseas is a must
    • Knowledge of network infrastructure and virtualization technologies
    • Good time management and issue prioritization skills
    • Understanding of Machine Learning Best Practices
    • Willingness to relocate overseas for 12-24 months
    • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security frameworks
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid driver's license and passport
    • Current TS/SCI clearance

    What will make your resume stand out?

    • Experience working with military or federal agencies
    • Some experience in 3D modeling/gaming
    • Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the DevOps community
    • Certification in DevOps, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate
    • Experience with Kubernetes clusters, especially in air-gapped scenarios

    Location: Onsite at a United States military facility in Qatar

    Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required

    Total Compensation Package

    • 175k - 190k + Bonus up to 50% = Total Compensation of 270k - 285k
