    Description

    • Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
    • Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
    • Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
    • Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
    • Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
    • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedure

    SHIFTS OPEN:
    1st - 8-4:30

    2nd- 3:30-11 or 12

    3rd: Friday, Sat or Sun 7a-7p

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 4 yr bachelors in biology (slight flexibility of chem or related science)
    • Can be fresh out of school to qualify for the tech trainee
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    • ASCP certification is a plus
