    Overview:


    The PSMI Department aids PMA260 by serving as the principal authority for the Naval Aviation Support Equipment (SE) Program and the Department of Defense (DoD) Automatic Test System (ATS) leadership.

    It provides PMA260 with acquisition and in-service logistics support services, offering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management and logistics support throughout the acquisition and sustainment life cycle of the designated weapon system/system of systems, including its subsystems and support equipment.


    Job Summary:
    This role is integral to providing comprehensive support in financial and accounting functions across various operational areas.

    It ensures the efficient and effective management of financial resources within the organization, contributing to overall operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

    Education and Experience:


    3 to 10 years' FTE experience in financial management, two (2) of which must be within the Department of Navy (DON).

    Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), FAR, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process, and two years of DON Procurement policies and procedures.

    BS or BA degree in a Business or related discipline in Finance, or Business Management.

    Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described

    OR f our (4) years additional work experience performing duties described can be substituted for the BA/BS degree


    Essential Duties:
    Implementing best practices in accounting to manage and track financial resources accurately.

    Developing, managing, and executing budgets to ensure the optimal use of financial resources.

    Overseeing resource allocation to align financial planning with organizational needs.

    Analyzing workload demands and managing processes to support organizational objectives.

    Maintaining and supporting financial operations through effective document management systems.

    Conducting analyses to identify opportunities for operational, system, and reporting improvements.

    Employing financial execution functions within specific ERP systems to maintain compliance and streamline processes.


    Assisting in a variety of management activities, initiatives, and projects that have a significant impact on the organization's success and business operations .


    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
    Working knowledge of DoD / NAVAIR processes and procedures.

    Working knowledge of NAVAIR Logistics Tools

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools

    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
