    Job Description Salary:
    $180 to $195K/Annual
    Job Summary

    This position will serve as the payer and channel access expert for Urogen products at the national, regional, and local level with government and commercial payers.

    The NAD will also serve as the content expert on all aspect of coverage, coding and reimbursement. This role will also be responsible for provider, trade, distribution, and GPO support around market access within assigned geography. This is a field-based position that reports to the VP of Market Access.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    Establish and maintain coverage and access for UroGen products with national, government, and regional payers in the assigned geography
    Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities by focusing on appropriate value-based relationships within key targeted payers
    Demonstrate expertise in payment reform and payment models in the marketplace for internal/external customers
    Monitor, research and interpret Medicare Part B and commercial payer coverage policies for Urogen products both published and nonpublished
    Establish critical relationships with a variety of stakeholders within the assigned geography: including government and commercial health plans, carrier medical directors (CMD), CAC members, plan medical directors, pharmacy directors, policy analysts, claims processors, key practice managers and state society executive directors
    Responsible and accountable for the successful implementation within their region of the strategic and tactical Market Access plan
    Establish and maintain relationships with selected distribution and GPO network partners
    Educate sales force and regional business directors on payer coverage policies for Company products
    Identify and communicate distribution and product access issues or trends to the impacted region(s) and team
    Participate and coordinate activities with state key societies' and other

    advocacy/influencer

    organizations
    Provide coverage and access updates at regional and national sales meetings
    Participate and provide payer perspective and strategic input to distributors, contractors, managed markets and brand teams at functional meetings on an as needed basis
    Utilizes industry awareness and knowledge to educate sales organization and internal

    marketing/operations

    teams on payer issues to enhance sales performance
    Understand the implications to the organization of payer and or government regulatory decisions and proactively develop strategies and solutions to address
    Approximately 75% travel required

    List of qualifications


    Experience:
    Preferred 10+ years of in the

    Pharmaceutical/Biotech

    Industry and/or related experience with a broad scope over multiple areas, including billing, coding, reimbursement acumen, and/or payer relations
    Proven track record and established relationships with key government and commercial payers, organizations, KOL's and state societies regional and national, preferred
    Current in-depth knowledge of Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage plans, CMS regulations, specialty distribution and managed care trends, all aspects of part B reimbursement
    Demonstrated creative problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to "think on his/her feet" and provide solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    Proven leadership abilities and strong business acumen, analytical thinking and financial modeling skills
    High interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment of a small biotechnology company, without the resources of larger companies
    Excellent verbal, written presentation skills


    Education:
    BA degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
