    The City of Lima is currently accepting applications for the seasonal position of GenNext Makers Site Leader in the Department of Workforce and Small Business Development.

    Under direction of the Workforce and Small Business Development Coordinator, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day camp operations.

    The specific duties of this position include supervising up to 30 youth ages 10-13 years of age, preparing for the daily activities, organizing and running the activities and interacting with the youth campers.

    The GenNext Makers Site Leader is responsible for the well-being and safety of the youth attending the camp. The GenNext Makers Site Leader needs to work cooperatively with parents, partnering businesses, and other camp support personnel.
    The GenNext Makers Camp is scheduled for July 15, 2024 through July 18, 2024. The individual will work these days as well as complete an orientation prior to the camp.
    Minimum Qualifications

    – An Associate degree preferred but not required. 1-2 years of experience in working with youth. A high school diploma or GED is required. The ability to speak and write Standard English appropriately in a business setting. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Possess excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. Possess current Ohio driver's license and current automobile insurance.
    Salary

    - $14.00 per hour
