Job summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care under the supervision of a registered nurse advanced practice provider or physician.The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and possesses the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.
The LPN ensures the health comfort and safety of residents contributes to the assessment of residents administers medications or treatments as ordered and documents resident interactions as needed and outcomes related to resident care medication behavior activity and dietary.
