Responsibilities – Parts Warehouse Dispatcher:
Receive and dispatch orders for parts pick up and deliveries.
Prioritize calls and shipments according to urgency and importance.
Address problems and requests with shipping and receiving.
Use phone or computer to send drivers to body and mechanical shops for returns and pickups.
Maintain a log for the delivery trucks for scheduled maintenance and repairs
Monitor the routes and status of delivery drivers to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
Provide the warehouse staff with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
Perform inventory control by verifying parts quantities for each store
Organize returns for processing
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements/Skills – Parts Warehouse Dispatcher:
Knowledge of the DFW and surrounding areas
Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
Computer experience with knowledge of dealership tasks.
Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Active listener with excellent communication skills
Sound judgement and critical thinking.
Leadership skills
Team builder
Regular, in-person attendance as scheduled is required.
